Master Instructor Melanie Wyatt  
Master Wyatt

Master Wyatt began training in 1981. In 1998 she was awarded her 5th Degree Black Belt by the US Chung Do Kwan Association. She is also a Korean Kukiwon Certified 5th Degree Black Belt.

In 1987 she took over teaching responsibity for The Academy. Since that time she has graduated over 50 students to the Black Belt ranks. Currently she has over 15 Certified Black Belts and Instructors under her.

Master Wyatt's honors include: Black Belt of the Year for 1993; two inductions in the US Chung Do Kwan Hall of Fame; 1996 - 15 Year Achievement Award; 1998 Presidential Award. (It is also rumored that Master Wyatt is a candidate for Black Belt of the Decade in 2000).

Master Jason Landaas  
Master Landaas

Master Landaas has been training at The Academy under Master Wyatt since 1990. He is Chief Instructor for The Academy and received his 4th Degree Black Belt in 2000.

Master Landaas began teaching for The Academy in 1993. In 1998 he was inducted into the US Chung Do Kwan Hall of Fame as an Outstanding Instructor.

Specializing in self-defense and close combat, Master Landaas is The Academy's Combat Hapkido instructor. The Academy's two satellite schools are one of Master Landaas's many duties.
